Locally known as "Liar's Lake," this campsite offers a peaceful retreat from everyday stress, while sitting by a campfire and spinning tall tales of the fish that have been caught. The lot is undeveloped, which leaves the buyer with a blank canvas to create their own utopia! Lake Woapalanne gets it's name from the Indian Chief by the same name who was a Lenape Tribal Leader on the mid-18th Century in Central and Western Pennsylvania. He belonged to the Munsee (Wolf) subtribe of the Lenape. The English translation of Woapalanne is "Chief Bald Eagle," which explains why the name was given to this particular body of water which is known for Bald Eagle sightings.
